| Customer Reviews: Great bra for Fibromyalgia May 1, 2009 Sandra L. Lowe 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Since I was told I have Fibromyalgia I must have purchased 100 bras trying to find one that would not hurt all my trigger points. I did find some Victoria Secret bras that were pretty good ( which I use mostly for the added cup size) But those day when I just can't handle those metal things digging into my shoulders etc I use this bra. It is perfect for those of us who suffer with horrible pain every day.
I highly recommend this to those millions of us that have been thrown into this terrible illness.
Cups roll and you can't adjust ANY straps! March 10, 2009 Alesia 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I purchased the underwire version of this bra, but they're identical in some key aspects! Not only do the cups roll outwards (which makes the outline of your cups visible even in a sweater), but the straps are completely nonadjustable. Seems a pretty high price to pay (literally) for a slight minimization of the amount of bra strap visible across your back (it doesn't even make that much difference). The better option is always a good fit! After all the hoopla I've heard about Spanx, I can only wonder what body type their products are designed to fit (since they can't be adjusted AT ALL).
a disappointment July 17, 2009 A. Byrne (MI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this bra recently and was very disappointed because I had anticipated extreme comfort. I have fibromyalgia and find the band of most bras to create a burning painful sensation after a couple hours of wear. I've had numerous professional bra fittings, including this spanx. My complaints are specific to my physiology but I observed: 1) the wonderfully soft tricot knit did not hold the cups firmly against my chest, causing "ride up" 2) the wonderfully soft tricot-lycra knit tended to stretch out increasing the "ride up" problem. :( Not worth the $$ if you have doubts about the fit. I returned the 3 which had not been worn due to the fit failure. :(
Not really wireless! July 14, 2010 K. klocek (Philly, Pa) Even though the description and tag say 'wireless' this bra has wires! There is no underwire, but there are wires that run vertically on the sides of the cups, near the armpits. I was quite disappointed that there were wires at all, because I was expecting a comfortable, wireless bra. Depending on how this bra may fit you, it could either be unnoticeable or very uncomfortable. I had to do some adjusting so that the wires didn't dig in to my ribs.
